Job Title: Health, Safety and Quality Advisor
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to support our various projects in meeting the requirements of our Safety, Quality and Environment Management systems. This role will cover projects across different regions and involve assisting site teams and managers by recognising hazards and seeking to minimise risks.
Main Responsibilities
* Development of the Health, Safety and Quality Management system in line with relevant standards;
* Ensuring compliance with statutory duties and reporting to management on the performance of the management systems;
* Assisting in promoting awareness of customer requirements throughout the organisation;
* Supporting the delivery of the HSEQ strategy for the company and assisting in achieving continuous improvement in HSEQ performance;
* Providing assurance to the HSEQ Manager by means of appropriate monitoring and intervention that operations fulfils its obligations under HSEQ legislation;
* Overseeing, monitoring and evaluating the operation of HSEQ performance across the region, working with senior management as appropriate.
Requirements
* NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent;
* Degree qualified or equivalent;
* Extensive experience within a civil engineering or telecommunications environment;
* Effective communication and reporting skills;
* Ability to work to and meet tight deadlines;
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office packages;
* CSCS Card.
