Cliff House Hotel is actively recruiting for a Bar Restaurant Supervisor to join our prestigious team and ensure the highest standards of luxury service for our guests. The role involves overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Bar Restaurant Manager in managing restaurant floor operations to maximize customer satisfaction and revenue.
2. Build effective relationships with guests and handle their feedback professionally.
3. Communicate clearly with staff both verbally and in writing.
4. Supervise servers and bartenders, providing coaching to improve service skills and product knowledge.
5. Observe performance and encourage improvements where necessary.
6. Manage staffing levels based on business needs, conduct pre-shift briefings, and communicate pertinent information.
7. Remain calm and alert during busy periods or emergencies, serving as a role model.
8. Use computer systems for billing, forecasting, reporting, and updating schedules.
9. Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in the restaurant/bar.
10. Collaborate with other departments and attend relevant meetings.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years in a supervisory role within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment, particularly in a restaurant/bar setting.
Skills & Abilities:
* Excellent leadership and staff management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and focus on quality control.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
