Red Chair Recruitment are presently recruiting a seeking an experienced Grab Reach Machine Operator to safely and efficiently operate Liebherr grab machinery in our clients recycling and waste management operations plant in Limerick.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Operate Liebherr grab machinery and associated plant safely and efficiently.
Load, unload, and move waste, recyclables, and bulk materials across the site.
Ensure accurate placement and handling of materials to support recycling and processing operations.
Conduct pre-start inspections and routine checks on machinery to ensure safe operation.
Perform basic maintenance and report faults or defects promptly.
Follow all health & safety procedures, including site-specific protocols and permit-to-work systems.
Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring machinery is parked and secured correctly.
Work collaboratively with site staff, supervisors, and other operators to maintain operational flow.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience operating Liebherr grab or similar material handling machinery.
Valid operator certification or license for heavy plant machinery.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
This is a permanent, full – time position with option for overtime.
Salary is based on experience and the tickets held by the applicant.
