Position Description
The Facilities Manager will oversee the operation and maintenance of Hanley Energy's physical assets, including buildings, equipment, and utilities. This role ensures all facilities are safe, efficient, and well-maintained, managing budgets, supervising staff, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards. The Facilities Manager is a key team member supporting the company's operational and strategic goals.
Position Responsibilities
* Oversee delivery of contracts for FM services (hard and soft), including security, fire protection, cleaning, emergency lighting, heating, AC, building and grounds maintenance, and technology.
* Conduct weekly site visits to ensure buildings are compliant and functioning properly.
* Manage day-to-day operations with weekly engagement with site leads.
* Hold monthly meetings with FM support staff and contractors, documenting minutes.
* Assist in preparing tender documents for contractors.
* Manage waste streams and report monthly.
* Monitor and report on energy usage monthly.
* Ensure maintenance records are maintained via CMMS.
* Manage budgets to ensure cost-effective FM services across Ireland.
* Provide weekly FM service reports and monthly SI and financial reports for review by the Head of Department.
* Ensure statutory inspections meet government regulations, H&S, and ISO standards.
* Advise on energy and waste initiatives to improve efficiency.
Position Requirements
* Qualification in Facility Management.
* Experience managing manufacturing facilities.
* Excellent organizational, leadership, and management skills.
* Strong client-facing abilities, aligned with Hanley Energy's customer focus.
* Attention to detail and high-quality service delivery.
* Ability to work independently and with internal teams.
* Technical knowledge to resolve technical issues.
* Good numeracy, communication, and written skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Knowledge of SAP Business One ERP.
* Strong commercial focus.
