About the Role
We're looking for a Community & Marketing Lead to help drive member growth, engagement, and retention.
You'll be the connection point between our gym, our members, and our online audience — managing marketing, community events, and member communications.
This is a hands-on, people-focused, and creative position that blends sales, marketing, and community management.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Community
* Handle membership enquiries, tours, and onboarding
* Develop and deliver retention initiatives (events, challenges, recognition, check-ins)
* Support the Head Coach and Director in community projects
* Represent BLCK Gym at local events and partnerships
Marketing & Content
* Create and schedule content across social media (Instagram, reels, stories)
* Capture photo/video content during sessions and events
* Manage newsletters, website updates, and promotional campaigns
* Track and review content performance metrics
Customer Experience
* Support the front desk when needed
* Ensure exceptional service across all member touchpoints — in person, online, and on socials
Candidate Profile
We're looking for someone who is:
* Outgoing, friendly, and confident in communication
* Experienced or educated in marketing, communications, or fitness
* Skilled with social media tools (Instagram, Canva, short-form video)
* Organised and able to work independently
* Enthusiastic about fitness, people, and growth
Hours & Pay
* 30 hours per week
* €13.50–€17.00 per hour, depending on experience
* Some evening or weekend work may be required for events or campaigns
