Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications professional to join our team as a Programme Executive.
This role will play a key part in the Communications Department, where you will be responsible for developing, planning, executing, and managing marketing and communications activities.
The successful candidate will join the Digital Marketing Team, providing responsive, creative, and effective communications across all online channels to help achieve business objectives.
This is an 18-month fixed term contract, providing a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic organisation.
About the Role:
* Develop and implement a strategic plan of communications promoting the organisation's role and objectives.
* Provide expert marketing and communications advice and services to assigned management and teams.
* Support the press office function, including proactive media relations, responding to press queries and supporting spokesperson training.
* Coordinate the content origination and publication of significant reports.
* Work with procurement teams to appoint marketing and communications agencies to support the activities of the Communications team.
* Define metrics for programmes and monitor, review and adjust ongoing marketing programmes.
* Conduct target audience research, gathering insights to inform communications strategies and tactics.
* Manage the Authority's brand assets and portfolio to ensure their full and proper use.
Requirements:
* A degree in Marketing, Business or other relevant discipline (minimum NFQ Level 7).
* Minimum three years' directly relevant experience working in a comparable marketing and/or communications function.
* Highly competent in all aspects of the full marketing communications mix.
* Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team, building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and ability to represent the organisation in a public forum.
* Well-developed IT skills.
