Where Could You Work
As a Graduate Structural Engineer you will work on large and small projects, exploring different career pathways within consulting and design.
Your role
* Work within multi‑disciplinary teams to develop and deliver designs of buildings and infrastructure, including technical and carbon calculations, reports, whole‑life cycle assessments, drawings, models, and presentations.
* Represent AtkinsRéalis in structural inspections on site and present at client and design team meetings.
* Assist project managers with design leadership and day‑to‑day management of project programmes, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
* Provide engineering support during construction by reviewing drawings for conformance with design and specification and observing construction procedures under senior engineer guidance.
* Research and analyse alternative design approaches to develop sustainability‑led solutions.
* Develop your own specialist skills to enhance the breadth and depth of services we offer.
About You
* Minimum level 8 degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* A passion for working in a consultancy environment.
* Championing an inclusive culture where everyone belongs.
* A desire to collaborate with a curious approach and challenge yourself to find new solutions.
* Enthusiasm and drive to develop your skill set and seek out development opportunities.
* Motivation to achieve professional accreditation (where applicable).
* Comfortable embracing agile ways of working and learning new technologies.
* Commitment to spend a minimum of three days a week in the office or on client site.
