The Junior Quantity Surveyor role offers a unique opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience while working alongside an experienced commercial team on a live infrastructure project. This project is set to commence at the beginning of 2026 and will run for approximately two years.
This involves assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager with day-to-day commercial activities, supporting the preparation of valuations, variations, and cost reports, helping manage subcontractor accounts, procurement, and payments, assisting with the measurement of quantities and take-offs from drawings, contributing to cost control and value engineering initiatives, ensuring compliance with company procedures and contractual obligations, and attending site meetings and maintaining accurate commercial records.
Required Skills and Qualifications
 * Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
 * Must have work experience or a college placement with a main contractor in Ireland or the UK.
 * Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
 * Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
 * Eagerness to learn and develop within a site-based commercial role.
 * Fluent English and eligible to work in Ireland.
 * Full driving license preferred.
