Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled NPI Procurement Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading design to cost and value engineering initiatives, as well as managing tooling costing and build scheduling.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Leverage an active Early Supplier Involvement (ESI) program to drive collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Raise the bar on supplier selection decisions through strategic procurement leadership and negotiation skills.
Requirements:
- Engineering or related science degree - Preferably QQI level 8 qualified.
- Professional experience in new product development environments, preferably within electro-mechanical manufacturing settings.
- Strong understanding of various supplier technologies including metal fabrication, machining, plastic molding, PCBA processes, cable management, optics,cite fluidics,citeswith excellent problem-solving capabilities,effective planning strategies,&anaclyticalskills
