On behalf of our Research Client based in Dublin, we are hiring a
Content and Media Specialist
to join them on a 6 month contract starting in November until May 2026.
The position provides the opportunity for a suitably qualified and motivated person to coordinate communications activities, oversee and lead development of the company websites and manage/generate content for social media channels in collaboration with the existing team.
Key responsibilities:
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Oversee and drive the development of company websites,
* Develop and implement content plans and actively generate and direct development of content across all channels
* Engaging proactively with media to ensure content is profiled in relevant outlets to grow awareness of the company
* Managing a team to produce and deliver high quality content to fulfil targeted communications plans.
Essential requirements:
Candidates must have a minimum of a degree in public relations/ journalism or NVQ level 8 in project management,
as well as
a relevant and up-to-date social media qualification. They will have a minimum of three years' relevant experience managing other people to meet objectives and implement actions.
It is essential that successful candidates have:
* Strong track record in driving development of new websites, working as an internal point of control for the web development company in relation to all activity,
* Demonstrated ability in developing organisational social media channels and strategies, managing content calendars, generating appropriate content and monitoring social media impact,
* Experience in writing high-quality and accessible digital and media content (samples of writing will be requested)
