Team Lead – Private Equity Fund Accounting | Limerick | 12-Month Contract (with extension or perm option)
We are currently recruiting for a
Team Lead
within a growing
Private Equity Fund Accounting department
. This is a pivotal role, overseeing a team, managing workloads, ensuring deadlines are met, and providing leadership to maintain a high-performing and collaborative environment.
Hybrid model – 3 days onsite in Limerick
€45–€50 per hour
12-month contract + strong potential for extension or permanent hire
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support a growing Private Equity Fund Accounting team.
* Review and oversee NAVs, valuations, and client reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
* Manage workloads efficiently while meeting client service levels and regulatory deadlines.
* Provide coaching, training, and continuous development for team members.
* Act as the key liaison with clients, auditors, and external stakeholders.
* Drive improvements in processes, automation, and reporting quality.
* Contribute to the department's strategic goals and business priorities.
Skills & Experience:
* Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* 10+ years post-qualification experience
.
* Strong technical knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS.
* Experience reviewing NAVs.
* Proven people leadership, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and manage teams.
* Strong client service orientation and ability to engage confidently with stakeholders.
* Private Equity Fund Accounting knowledge (or willingness to develop quickly).
