The Position
My client is looking to appoint a Senior Manager to join their Corporate Tax Team. Working closely with partners and senior leadership, and contributing to the management of a growing team, the successful candidate will work with a diverse portfolio of indigenous owner-managed and internationally owned businesses across a range of industries, many with global reach.
This role is suited to an ambitious professional with strong experience in developing practical, innovative tax-based business solutions. The firm offers structured management development, mentoring and clear opportunities for career progression within a dynamic and expanding advisory-focused team.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the management team in developing and maintaining strong client relationships, including coordination of cross-departmental service offerings
Managing payment and return-filing obligations for a portfolio of corporate tax clients
Advising clients—alongside partners and management—on business structures, transfer pricing and profit repatriation
Acting as an integral member of multidisciplinary service teams on a range of advisory assignments
Contributing to departmental goals including billing, net fee income and cash collection, as well as broader firm-wide objectives
Participating in team training and contributing to peer learning initiatives
Supporting business development and marketing activities at firm, department and team levels
Assisting with staff development and internal process reviews
Ideal Candidate
AITI qualified and a qualified accountant, with at least 2 years' experience at manager level in practice
Experience in corporate tax compliance, including involvement with larger corporates and consultancy assignments
Strong technical understanding and practical experience in interpreting Irish tax legislation, commentary and case law
Experience in supervising assignments and managing client relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and planning capabilityAbility to meet deadlines and perform under pressure
Eagerness to grow and develop within a changing tax landscape
