Job Role: Quality Assurance Technician
The primary objective of this position is to ensure the production of high-quality products that meet customer and product specifications. As a key member of the production team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
* To carry out shelf-life testing and assess raw materials for quality to guarantee consistency in product output.
* To conduct sampling and online testing in accordance with established procedures to verify product compliance with customer specifications.
* To perform quality tests, including calibration, temperature control, and weight checks, to maintain the highest standards of product quality.
Requirements:
* A minimum of previous experience in quality assurance/food safety within a food manufacturing environment is required.
* Detailed knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food hygiene, and quality management systems (QMS) is essential.
* Experience in conducting audits (internal, third-party, or retailer) and maintaining compliance documentation is necessary.
* Strong organisational and record-keeping skills with attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
