Role is fully remote but candidates must reside on the Island of Ireland in order to be considered.
Project Description: The teams work within the Direct sales funnel. Distribution is the growth engine, serving our Personal Lines customers and focused on building out customer-centric solutions to achieve profitable online throughput.

Skill Required: Our Contract Delivery Lead is a pivotal technical leadership role supporting teams by overseeing end-to-end technical delivery and ensuring outstanding customer value. This role is accountable for the complete lifecycle of software engineering epics, partnering closely with Product Owners and UX specialists to prepare, refine, and deliver high-impact solutions.
The Contract Delivery Lead empowers teams to deliver exceptional results. They foster an environment of continuous improvement, guiding teams through agile processes, and driving metric-based decisions in the areas of team performance, operational excellence, and High Performance Engineering (HPE). The role also champions effective communication—both within teams and with the wider stakeholder group.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Management
Oversee the planning and execution of multiple engineering teams' deliveries.
Ensure commitments are met, risks are managed, and obstacles are proactively addressed.
Facilitate clear communication and alignment across teams and stakeholders.
Ensure Risks to delivery are understood and mitigated
Ensure dependencies for deliveries are appropriately managed
Team Leadership & Support
Promote an environment of ownership, collaboration, and self-improvement.
Coach teams on best practices in agile delivery, engineering quality, and continuous improvement.
Remove impediments that block teams from achieving their goals.
Drive continuous improvement in key delivery metrics such as Velocity and Cycle Times, while ensuring Valuable outcomes are front of mind for the aligned teams
Keep the relevant people manager for individuals on aligned teams informed of any relevant feedback so they may give the employee the best experience from a people management and development perspective
Product Leadership support
Embrace the product mindset and have led teams and customers on the journey to identifying the root cause of their problems and delivering solutions that provide real business value
Partner with Product Owners to refine and prioritize backlogs, ensuring clear and actionable work.
Balance product delivery goals with sustainable pace and engineering quality.
Engineering Excellence & Standards
Ensure High Performance Engineering (HPE) is embedded in the culture of the team, with a high degree of ownership for measurable self-improvement
Ensure the teams own and use Security, Cost, Operational Excellence, Reliability and Performance reviews to drive planful improvement of their ways of working, and the applications under their stewardship
Encourage and facilitate retrospectives, learning and implementation of learned lessons in teams.
