The Role:
As an Account Manager, you will be a key part of the sales operations team, responsible for developing and expanding existing client accounts, as well as sourcing new clients and business opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing pricing and quotations for clients, analyzing their specific needs, researching & reporting on competitor offerings & market trends, assisting with branding & marketing initiatives, and achieving sales/KPI targets set by management.
* Managing incoming inquiries, qualifying leads, nurturing prospects, and creating detailed project briefs.
* Overseeing the transition of opportunities through the quoting phase and converting them into confirmed sales or active jobs.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, finance, and warehousing, to ensure seamless project execution.
* Taking ownership of issue resolution, proactively addressing challenges, and maintaining clear, professional communication with clients to meet their needs efficiently.
Skills & Experience Needed:
* 3rd level degree in business studies, marketing, or related discipline.
* 2-3+ years of experience in sales and account management roles.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with clients at all seniority levels.
* Proven ability to self-manage and own sales projects.
* Experience in B2B customer-facing roles with a successful track record.
* Results-driven with a passion for building strong client relationships.
* Project and/or event management experience.
* Ability to work effectively under high pressure.
* Polished communication skills.
* Strong analytical skills with a positive, energetic attitude.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
* Growth mindset, high personal accountability, and ambition to succeed.
