Senior Environmental Health Specialist
The ideal candidate will provide environmental health and safety support for multiple site projects.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Health Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations and procedures across various site projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide EH&S support for site projects, including risk assessments, job safety compliance inspections, and contractor management.
* Develop and implement EH&S procedures, policies, and training programs as required.
* Liaise with third-party EH&S specialists on matters related to CE, ATEX, and Machinery Directives.
* Support departments in investigating events and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A 3rd-level qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
* Experience working in a safety role, preferably within construction, with a focus on working for the client.
* A thorough knowledge of health and safety legislation in Ireland/Europe, particularly Construction Regulations.
* Knowledge of environmental legislation for pharmaceutical facilities operating in Ireland/Europe.
* Project Management expertise.
