Being privately owned, we can truly be driven by our purpose, to create a better world, and think long-term as opposed to being focused solely on short-term profitYour Role and Responsibilities:As an experienced veterinary surgeon and leader, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of the clinical activities and financial performance within the business, comprising of 19 people, in conjunction with your practice manager, lead nurse and head of region ROI.Key responsibilitiesOversee clinical standards and qualityLead the vet teamEnsure highest levels of patient and client care.Lead and line manage the senior leadership team facilitating an environment of respect, collaboration and engagement while maintaining a no blame, safety cultureBudget planning and delivery of financial targetsWhat we are looking for:ExperienceEssential:5 years + experience as a veterinary clinician. 2-3 years experience in a leadership role. Managing a budget. Clinical Leadership. Experience in coaching and mentoring.Desirable:Leadership experience in a multi-discipline practice. 10 years of MVB experience. Practice Standards Scheme/Patient safety event reporting and reviewing.KnowledgeEssential:Client experience (client relationship skills and complaint resolution). Clinical standards. Team engagement and leadership. Financial and Management KPIs.Desirable:Marketing/public relations.Skills and AbilitiesEssential: Developing others. Setting strategy. Coaching/mentoring.
