Financial Accountant Role
A challenging and rewarding position in an accountancy firm is available for a skilled financial accountant.
Daily Tasks:
* Manage various client accounts, prepare and submit VAT returns, perform bank reconciliations, and maintain financial records using Surf, Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero.
Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of complex or high-volume client accounts and ensure the accuracy of junior staff entries.
* Train and support junior team members, identify and escalate client issues, and contribute to internal systems and quality control procedures.
* Process high-volume payrolls using Thesaurus or BrightPay while ensuring full compliance with Revenue regulations and deadlines.
Requirements:
* 2-5 years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll roles within an accountancy or payroll practice.
* Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis techniques.
* Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and colleagues.
