Bid coordinators play a pivotal role in driving the success of a company's bid strategy.
About the Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end bid activity, ensuring compliant and high-quality submissions are delivered to deadline. This involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to collate, edit and format technical, commercial and HSEQ inputs into compelling proposal documents and presentations.
* Manage bid portals, trackers, calendars and version control, scheduling reviews and governance gates
* Maintain a comprehensive library of bid content, including CVs, case studies, certificates and standard attachments
* Support the bid management team with data gathering, market research and lessons learned
Liaise with operations, engineering and supply chain teams to capture win themes and differentiators. Prepare handover packs for mobilisations following a successful award.
Key Responsibilities
This role requires strong administrative experience in a commercial setting, ideally supporting bids or proposals. Excellent MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) with sharp attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
Proven ability to plan, prioritise and deliver against multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Understanding of facilities management or building services (mechanical and electrical) is highly advantageous.
A successful initial interview via video conference will be followed by an on-site assessment with the existing bid coordinator.
