Maintenance Technician
This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and deliver on preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and increase efficiency
* Ensure work and equipment compliance with regulatory and statutory directives
* Maintain building and facility services including chillers, air handling units, compressors, heating, electrical, and water services
* Troubleshoot and problem-solve issues as they arise
* Support the activities of the EHS teams and lead by example
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to multitask. Experience in maintaining detailed mechanical and electrical manufacturing building services is essential, with injection molding experience being an advantage.
Responsibilities include:
1. Using permit to work systems or other safety systems to control engineering activities
2. Recording all maintenance work performed
3. Contributing to the drive to effectively manage spares, consumables, and contracts
Applicants should possess a third-level engineering qualification or Electrical/Mechanical Trade qualification, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A strong analytical approach to problem-solving and the ability to bring innovative solutions are also essential.
