The role
Job description: Monitor and resolve trading alerts, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of execution or risk issues. Execute trades in accordance with the firm’s Trading Risk Policy. Monitor execution quality and trading costs across instruments, proactively identifying and addressing operational or execution inefficiencies to optimize processes and controls. Implement pre-trade and post-trade execution risk controls. Monitor pricing quality, spreads and system performance. Proactively monitor market developments and communicate relevant news and risks to the trading team. Collaborate with senior traders and quantitative researchers to structure and evaluate new trading opportunities. Generate P&L tracking and attribution reports related to execution performance, hedging activity and trading costs. Contribute to the development and enhancement of proprietary execution algorithms for various market conditions. Build and enhance trading tools, models, and analytics in programming languages like Python to support decision-making and execution. Collaborate with cross-functional team members, providing data, analysis and insights to support wider trading projects and initiatives. Perform post-trade surveillance tasks.
