About the Role:
Looking for an experienced Field Service Technician with background in semiconductor fabrication plant. Background snapshot, scheduled/unscheduled repairs, performance optimisation, and team training. Delivering improvements through High-Performance Maintenance strategies, increasing equipment reliability.
Practical experience of central support systems e.g. chillers, chemical delivery, robotics.
As a Field Service technician, you will play a key role in providing
engineering, operations, and maintenance support
across Bulk Gas Systems. You'll be working on-site and remotely to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations — all with a strong focus on
health and safety
and
electrical/electronic systems expertise
.
You'll join a forward-thinking team delivering highly specialised solutions for industrial customers, including the design and construction of large-scale gas storage systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor performance of equipment and systems to meet delivery standards
* Conduct fault-finding, troubleshooting, and repair work
* Maintain accurate documentation and performance logs
* Develop operating procedures and technical method statements
* Ensure compliance with strict safety protocols and take corrective action where needed
What We're Looking For:
* A strong safety-first mindset
* A relevant engineering qualification (Diploma, apprenticeship, Certified Level 3 Field Service technician)
* Understanding of industrial facilities/plant operations
* Experience with
SCADA, PLC systems
, and electrical/electronic maintenance
* Ability to make sound decisions and resolve technical issues
* Familiarity with technical procedures and method statements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in MS Office and computer-based reporting tools
