We are partnering with a renewables platform to appoint a Corporate & Joint Venture Solicitor to join its in-house legal team. This role will support the delivery of the organisation’s strategic growth initiatives by providing legal advice across joint ventures, strategic partnerships and corporate transactions.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting complex commercial arrangements, working closely with senior internal stakeholders to structure and implement strategic collaborations while managing legal and regulatory risk.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal support on strategic business initiatives including joint ventures, partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and other commercial collaborations.
Draft, review and negotiate a range of commercial agreements including NDAs, collaboration agreements, shareholder agreements and joint venture documentation.
Support the structuring and governance of joint venture arrangements and advise on appropriate corporate frameworks.
Work closely with internal stakeholders across commercial, finance, tax and regulatory functions to ensure transactions align with corporate strategy.
Advise on governance structures, regulatory obligations and risk management considerations relating to strategic partnerships.
Liaise with and manage external counsel on specialist matters and complex transactions.
Provide broader corporate legal advice to support commercial objectives and project development initiatives.
Candidate Profile
Qualified Solicitor or Barrister in Ireland.
Approximately 6+ years’ post-qualification experience, ideally gained in a leading law firm and/or in-house environment.
Experience advising on joint ventures, corporate structuring and M&A transactions.
Strong understanding of corporate governance and regulatory frameworks.
Commercially minded with the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.
Experience in infrastructure, energy or large-scale project environments would be advantageous.
