This will be busy position in a market leading organisation with a global reach. Requirements: 3+ years experience in a supervisory / management role with previous substantial experience in a manufacturing environment. A proven track record of delivering production targets and managing teams. Experience in health & safety and quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 etc. Experience in mechanical, welding or electronic manufacturing withknowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen or similar methodologies. A strong leader with sound people management skills, an excellent communicator and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability. Good understanding of production planning, scheduling and resource allocation with the ability to interpret production data and apply analytical thinking. Strong organisational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day production operations, including workforce performance, machinery, material flow, planning and control production schedules to meet demand delivery deadlines. Monitor output, efficiency, downtime, scrap, OEE, etc and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality and environmental standards such as ISO, Lean, 5S, etc. Lead, train and motivate the production team to achieve performance targets. Work with supply chain, maintenance and quality departments to ensure smooth workflow. Drive lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives. Responsible for the implementation of budgets for labour, materials and overhead costs. Prepare reports for senior management on production performance and improvement plans. Support new product introductions, process changes and implement improvement in mean-time-to-failure / product failure rate. Communicate required changes to improve build and implement through the design team. Plan service teams for installations, servicing and breakdowns. Manage and organise logistics.
