A leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with data centre expertise for a role in North Dublin.This role offers an opportunity to lead design on technically complex global projects and contribute to the development of advanced, resilient, and sustainable data centre infrastructure across Ireland and internationally.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and deliver structural design packages for data centre projects including foundations, superstructure, and high-load-bearing systems.Conduct detailed design calculations, modelling, and analysis to ensure compliance with Eurocodes, Irish Building Regulations, and international standards.Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary design teams to integrate structural systems with mechanical, electrical, and fire-safety infrastructure.Develop structural drawings, specifications, and design reports suitable for tender and construction issue.Review and approve contractor submissions, shop drawings, and method statements.Perform site inspections and provide engineering support during construction.Participate in internal design reviews and client progress meetings.Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and resource management for structural delivery.Key RequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.6+ years structural engineering experience, preferably on large commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects.Chartered Engineer status, or close to obtaining.Strong design experience using reinforced concrete and structural steel systems.Proficiency in structural design and analysis software (e.g., Tekla, Robot, Etabs, SAFE, or equivalent).Sound understanding of Eurocodes, Irish and UK design standards, and health & safety legislation.Demonstrated ability to coordinate structural design with heavy M&E services.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organisational and documentation skills with attention to technical detail.What's on Offer?Personalised compensation and benefits packageExposure to high-profile projects across Europe, APAC, and the Middle East.Career progression within a company that values initiative, collaboration, and technical innovation.Structured professional development support and clear career progression pathways.Flexible working arrangements with hybrid and project-based options.ProSource Group is a specialist Irish recruitment company whose primary focus is recruiting within the Construction & Civil Engineering industries throughout Ireland and Europe
