 
        Your missionHR Manager reporting into Business Unit Director – FMIThe HR manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR for both HO and Field teams that work across multiple locations. They will be required to ensure consistent HR practices are followed, compliance with employment law and full alignment with internal company policies and client expectations.Reporting to a member of the Leadership Team, the HR Manager is responsible for executing day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, compliance, and employee relations — while also contributing strategically to the FMI business. This includes working collaboratively with head office and field teams to improve communication, operational efficiency, staff engagement, onboarding and offboarding, and ensuring HR initiatives align with both FMI and client objectives.Core Responsibilities: HR:Provide advice, recommendations, and general HR information to all stakeholders of the business and make recommendations where necessary.Keep abreast of both Irish and European employment legislation ensuring all policies & procedures are up to date and all areas within FMI adhere to the relevant legislationCommunicate any employment changes to all stakeholders of the businessEnsure all Head Office & Field staff have correct HR documentation on file including relevant contracts of employment and training documentationEnsure all FMI staff are eligible to work in Ireland in line with EU legislationManage the new starter and leaver process in conjunction with the finance departmentMonitor and manage Health and Safety requirements (First Aiders, Fire Marshalls, Risk Assessments)Manage FMI's performance appraisal processManage the Data Protection requirements of the businessConduct and report on any disciplinary and grievance issues in line with company policy and employment legislationAdvise managers and employees on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent handling of all casesRepresent the company at WRC where requiredManage all accidents and incidents and ensure correct reporting procedures are followedUpdate FMI Employee Handbook as required and ensure the handbook policies and procedures are adhered toFull management for FMI's HR System (Personio)Manage all aspects of ISO audit accreditation and ad hoc client specific HR audits and HR requestsManage adhoc HR projects that may be required for the businessReport to management monthly on all HR metricsRecruitment:Overall responsibility of FMI recruitment function ensuring all stakeholders are adhering to the correct processes and proceduresManage the budget allocated for this function and the 3rd party platforms including Indeed, etcProvide recruitment reporting analytics and insights to optimise the functionSupport with all recruitment events and alternative ways of attracting talentEnsure smooth functionality between Personio and IndeedTraining:Manage the training function, ensuring compliance with legislative, company, and ISO requirementsOversee the updating and deployment of the Moodle platform across the businessWork with managers to ensure all training content is accurate, current, and fit for purposeMaintain control and approval of training updates to ensure consistency, compliance, and audit readinessManaging 3rd Party Suppliers and Contractors:Liaising with insurance Brokers as requiredLiaising with Company Solicitors & HR advisory panels as requiredLiaising with consultants & auditors for ISO NQA certificationsCommunicate and prepare submissions to the DPO as requiredPrepare submissions and represent the Company at any WRC hearingsSustainability ProgrammeLead the Sustainability groupDrive the agenda across the businessSeek out new and innovative areas to grow our sustainability advocacyAd HocWork with LT on ad hoc projects including but not limited to:FMI Net Zero PlanEcovadis AccreditationTender SubmissionsDirect ReportsRecruitment TeamReception/ HRYour profileQualifications/ExperienceDegree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field8–10 years' experience in HR, including at least 3–5 years at HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner levelStrong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR complianceExperience handling employee relations, recruitment, and onboardingExposure to ISO audits and HR systems (Personio preferred)Experience managing training (ideally with Moodle or similar LMS)Line management experienceINDHPAbout usFMI is a diverse business specialising in Field Management, Brand Management and Distribution and Contact Centre services across multiple sectors including FMCG, Drinks, Utilities, Telco, and Government.
