Key Responsibilities
1. Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment, including air-cooled and water-cooled systems up to 1000 tons, hot water boilers up to 200 hp, hydronics, piping systems, air conditioners, pumps, air handlers, cooling towers, spot coolers, gas heaters, controls, and electrical components.
2. Maintain accurate field service reports, refrigerant tracking, and logs.
3. Use power tools, hand tools, and mechanical equipment for servicing systems.
4. Operate vehicles, including forklifts; load and unload trucks.
5. Communicate professionally with coworkers, subcontractors, and customers.
6. Support the business through inventory management, maintenance, cleaning, and organizing.
7. Provide sales leads and promote Carrier products and services.
8. Assist in training, work assignment, and adherence to EHS protocols.
9. Perform start-ups and teardowns.
Required Qualifications
1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Valid Driver’s License.
3. At least 5 years of experience in Commercial HVAC.
4. Ability to obtain and maintain Forklift Certification.
5. Type 4 - EPA Universal certification.
6. Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
7. Experience with Windows OS, MS Outlook, and web browsers.
8. Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience in project application mapping and updating.
2. Associate’s Degree or HVAC certification.
3. Rentals experience.
4. Site experience.
