The role of a Senior Bar Duty Manager involves overseeing the Bars/Beverage Department within a hotel property. This position entails managing multiple bars, leading a team of up to 40 staff members while on duty, and ensuring excellent service to guests.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage the Bars/Beverage Department including bar food service for 6 bars.
* Lead a team of up to 30-40 staff while on duty.
* Have a hands-on approach in areas where assistance is needed.
* Cover Duty Management shifts within the property.
* Conduct weekly stocktakes and drive sales initiatives.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role in busy hotels.
* Strong knowledge of the bars/beverage industry.
* HACCP training required.
* Excellent people management and communication skills.
