Ayrton Group are seeking a Health Safety Quality Environmental Site Administrator to join our client, a provider of services to the water sector, on a project in Cork City.
The HSQE Site Administrator will support the on-site PM in managing and coordinating all matters of HSQE associated with the on-site mechanical and process upgrade works at a water treatment facility.
This is a contract role of 12 months, with the potential for further extension.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with all current legislation, including codes of practice and relevant standards. Assist in the maintenance of the company legal register.
* Review and implement HSQE management procedures.
* Review and implement client HSQE standards & procedures.
* Review and implement Construction Health and Safety Plans.
* Review and implement Site Construction Stage Environmental Management Plan.
* Review and implement Site Quality Management Plan on the BIM platform.
* Arrange, prepare, and carry out site inductions.
* Update and maintain all records associated with the HSQE management system.
* Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements as required.
* Review and comment on Subcontractor's RAMS.
* Record HSQE statistics including Key Performance Indicators.
* Provide monthly HSQE report.
* Arrange, co-ordinate, and minute site Health and Safety meetings and capture action plans.
* Support the investigation of accidents and dangerous occurrences, maintaining proper records and complying with and reporting to relevant bodies.
* Procure site services and equipment.
* Prepare site HSQE handover over documentation.
* Upload HSQE documentation to BIM.
Key Qualifications:
* Recognised qualification in Health and Safety, or similar.
* 5 years' experience within the Health & Safety and/or Environmental Engineering disciplines.
* Experience with UI systems and procedures, safety expectations etc.
* Familiarity with water treatment plants would be preferred.
* Mechanical & Electrical experience would be beneficial.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work on own initiative and be innovative.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
* You must be legally permitted to live and work in Ireland.
