The role is largely remote with an expectation to attend the office in Blanchardstown between 2 and 5 days per month or as required by your line manager from time to time. Typically, attendance is required 2 days per month.

About the role of System Administrator

We are now recruiting for a
hands-on
Systems Administrator to lead in the design, build and management of IT Infrastructure projects, largely in cloud (as your ability allows). You'll play a significant role in the management of Aviareto's entire infrastructure estate and will be a SME on our Systems, all while supporting incident management across all environments. Aviareto has a significant technology estate consisting of a corporate office using largely SaaS technology and a production environment hosted on the cloud. You will start on our Corporate Microsoft Environment and graduate to our production and cloud environments as you develop and learn. This is a great opportunity to broaden your horizons and deepen your technology experience all while learning cloud and playing an important role in the development of system of international importance.
Responsibilities
Production Infrastructure
o Communication and co-ordination of defect resolution and change management with relevant stakeholders.
o Analyse, manage and assist the implementation of changes and improvements to the infrastructure.
o Communication of IR Production & QA environment impacting maintenance or issues to Operations Team and business stakeholders.
o Assessment and approval of Vendor submitted infrastructure changes and updates.
o Manages IR Application Software Deployments with Managed Hosting Provider and Aviareto Product Team.
o Monitors IR Production Systems for health and alerts
o Analyse software & infrastructure incident reports to identify solutions
o Database Integrity Audit & Management through Oracle Audit Vault
Corporate Office Management
o Administering Active Directory/Entra ID, Group Policy/In-Tune
o Corporate Office IT infrastructure projects
o Supports the internal IT Help Desk
o Administrates and supports Corporate Office Network
o Local & Cloud Backup & Recovery Management
o Supports Software Licensing and Asset Registers
o Maintenance of IT Audit Programme & Activities
o Ensures IT SLA's are maintained
o Software installation and support for Microsoft products
o Administration of Office 365 & CRM (MS Dynamics)
o Manage and investigate security related incidents
o Corporate Office IT procurement
International Registry Business Support
o Escalation point for IT relate issues and escalates as necessary to the Senior System Administrator or the Head of Technology as appropriate.
o Responsible for all Level 2 IR Customer Technical Support Issues (Escalations)
o Work closely with stakeholders such as the Regulator, clients, internal and external resources
o Support Software Development and Product and QA Teams with the provision of data and support
o Compiles IR related reporting as required by the business
o Contribute to technical proposals for addressing application issues
o Assist senior staff with business requirements gathering
o Supports the Technology Team in the management of key infrastructure, security and software vendors.
o Contribute to research and development of new technologies and providing guidance and support to management.

· Experience in complex root cause analysis & log analysis
· Microsoft 365 Administration (Entra ID, In-Tune, Purview etc.) - On Prem alternative experience will be considered i.e. Active Directory, Domain Management & Group Policy will be considered.
· Good Scripting Skills (PowerShell, Batch, Python or similar)

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION
* A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience is preferred. Any industry qualifications and or experience will be considered in place of this.
* At least 4 years' experience in designing, building, and managing IT Infrastructure.
* Fluent English, both written and verbal
* You must have the right to work in Ireland on a permanent basis without the requirement for sponsorship.

Salary
* Please note that the base salary is €60,000 to €70,000 with a performance related annual bonus of 10% and an on-call allowance of €7,500. Hence O.T.A. (On Target Earnings) could be equivalent to €73,500 - €84,500
