Senior Manager -Strategic Pricing, Centre of Excellence page is loadedSenior Manager -Strategic Pricing, Centre of ExcellenceApply locations Dublin - Cherrywood Business Park time type Full time posted on Posted Yesterday job requisition id JR00018551POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Manager plays a strategic role within the International Centre of Excellence (ICoE), responsible for defining and leading the pricing strategy for one or more therapeutic or customer categories, such as CA Dermatology, CA OA Pain, CA Prevention, CA Renal, CA Oncology, Ruminants, or Swine.
Working in close partnership with Category Management Leads and cross-functional stakeholders, the Senior Manager ensures pricing guidance reflects the category's value proposition, lifecycle priorities, and competitive context.
While not directly responsible for analysis, this role provides direction to Analysts, reviews outputs, and translates insights into actionable guidance.
The Senior Manager will collaborate with Pricing colleagues as a group to align central pricing tools, frameworks, and governance across the broader portfolio.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Define value-based pricing strategies and launch pricing frameworks for assigned categories, incorporating outcomes research, market research, and willingness-to-pay data.
Lead the development of strategic pricing guidance and annual planning inputs (e.g.
price corridors, approval frameworks), ensuring consistency with commercial and financial objectives.
Act as a strategic advisor to Category Management, shaping pricing that reflects brand positioning, value delivery, and lifecycle strategy.
Provide direction to Pricing Analysts on required analytics and modelling; review outputs to derive actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with other Pricing team members to ensure consistency of pricing frameworks, tools, and governance processes across categories.
Facilitate adaptation of central pricing guidance in collaboration with in-market teams, and manage escalations where proposals fall outside of approved parameters.
Contribute to innovative pricing model development (e.g.
shared risk, subscription), aligned with category needs and value delivery.
