Your new company An organisation in the public sector, based in North Dublin is seeking to hire an Accounts Assistant on a full-time 6-month contract, to join their finance team. This role offers hybrid and flexible working after training, opportunities for growth and provides a salary of up to €45,000 DOEYour new role Your role will involve managing day‑to‑day accounts administration, including processing invoices, payments, revenue records, and payroll support. You will handle debtor management, bank reconciliations, VAT returns, and ensure all accounting records are accurate and up to date. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will use Sage and HR Locker while supporting the finance team across all main accounting functions.What you'll need to succeed You'll bring significant experience in accounts administration, ideally gained in a busy finance environment. You'll have strong knowledge of accounting processes, reconciliations, and best practices, with good working experience of Sage and Excel. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are essential. Strong communication skills are also key, as you'll work closely with internal departments.
