What is the opportunity?
The primary responsibility of this role is to drive the delivery pipeline for multiple Agile teams, helping them deliver digital software solutions efficiently and with high quality. You will ensure your teams focus on the right priorities, remove impediments, manage risks, and stay aligned with their delivery goals.
You will empower and support teams to adopt Agile values, foster a positive environment of self-accountability, and share your experience with senior management to enhance Agile capabilities and consistency in delivery approaches.
In this role, you will:
* Model behaviors and Agile values to promote team ownership and accountability in software delivery, discerning when coaching is appropriate versus leadership intervention.
* Ensure consistent application of Agile Scrum ceremonies and continuously apply learnings to improve team outcomes.
* Build strong relationships with Delivery Leads, Product Owners, and stakeholders to facilitate knowledge sharing and promote best practices.
* Maintain accurate data to ensure visibility of progress to senior partners throughout the change and software delivery lifecycle.
What will make you stand out?
You should have proven experience in delivering complex digital projects using Agile methods, with the ability to navigate waterfall processes when necessary. A solid understanding of technology delivery and trends, mentoring others, and leading when appropriate are essential.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to forge relationships beyond your team are important for navigating complex organizational structures. You should be able to work independently, manage workload priorities, and empower others daily.
Qualifications in the following areas are advantageous but not mandatory:
* Project and Program Management certification
* Business Analysis Certification
Essential Qualifications
* Scrum Master or Agile delivery certification (e.g., SAFe)
* Qualification in IT, Software Engineering, or a relevant Business Field

The Scrum Master role is within the IT group of the Wealth and Insurance business unit, comprising dedicated IT professionals across the entire Software Delivery Lifecycle. The role will significantly impact our teams and delivery of key digital applications.
This is a hybrid role based in Dublin, Ireland, with travel expected for in-person collaboration as agreed with the manager.
