Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership: Manage a team of pipefitters, welders, and other site operatives, ensuring they perform according to project standards.Project Coordination: Work closely with Mercury's senior management to ensure a clear understanding of project goals, responsibilities, and timelines.Scheduling & Planning: Oversee day-to-day activities and plan work schedules according to the project scope and client requirements.Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets the project's quality and safety standards, with particular attention to welding and mechanical installations.Material Management: Monitor the delivery and usage of materials, ensuring no delays in work due to material shortages.Problem Solving: Address any on-site issues, including labour, material shortages, or equipment needs, in close collaboration with Mercury's engineers.Daily Logs: Maintain daily work logs to track progress, highlight challenges, and ensure transparent communication with both the client and internal teams.Handover Management: In case of a change in personnel, ensure a smooth and comprehensive handover of responsibilities.Qualifications & Requirements:Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on large-scale projects, particularly in boiler room installation, pharmaceutical, or industrial settings.Experience managing teams of 40+ workers including pipefitters, welders, and general operatives.Excellent understanding of mechanical systems, welding standards, and installation techniques.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and isometric diagrams.Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to adapt to the demands of a dynamic project environment and address challenges proactively.Job Type: Full-timePay: €55,000.00-€65,000.00 per yearExperience:Mechanial Supervisor: 5 years (preferred)Work Location: In person
