About Avista
Avista is a dynamic disability service that provides clinical supports and residential services to children with complex disability needs and their families.
We have four Children's Disability Network Teams, and these posts will be located in our Limerick service East Limerick Children's Services, catering for the HSE CHO 3 Network 5 area which includes Limerick, parts of County Clare and North Tipperary.
Senior Physiotherapist Role
You will be joining a dynamic, family centred, interdisciplinary team with excellent access to supervision, training and further supports.
* Work as part of an Interdisciplinary Team providing services to 0-18 year old children and young persons with complex needs.
* Work in partnership with families within a family centred model.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A recognised degree in Physiotherapy.
* Proof of CORU Physiotherapy qualification.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland.
* A full clean driving license, with use of a car.
* At least 3 years' work experience working with children with disabilities and complex needs.
* A minimum of 6-12 months' experience working as a physiotherapist in a pediatric disability setting.
Desirable skills include:
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork and effective caseload management skills.
* Good planning, organisation and effective time management skills.
* The ability to work on your own initiative.
