Job Opportunity
We seek an exceptional Senior Manager to spearhead technical program management, leading software engineering teams in developing platform APIs for SiriusXM Pandora & Stitcher applications. This role will serve as the primary liaison with Product Marketing and Engineering teams, harmonizing efforts towards shared company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Establish a high-performing team by setting clear goals, promoting accountability, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Develop and maintain in-depth expertise in the domain, driving initiatives to advance its roadmap in alignment with organizational priorities.
* Identify and resolve complex cross-organizational challenges, devising innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degree.
* 6+ years of experience in technical program management, with a proven track record of managing large-scale initiatives.
* 2+ years of management experience leading high-performing teams within a technical program or product management environment.
Essential Skills
* Advanced technical knowledge in relevant domains, with experience in technical architecture and system design.
* Expert-level verbal and written communication skills, representing the team effectively from ideation through execution.
* Demonstrated conflict management skills, resolving disputes with minimal oversight and fostering productive discussions.
Preferred Qualifications
* Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, or PMP) and other relevant certifications.
* Experience creating KPIs, dashboards, and metrics.
* Working knowledge in release planning and management.
