Description
As an Event Planner and Coordinator, you will be responsible for orchestrating unforgettable events. This role requires a unique blend of creativity and logistics. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' experience in event management or wedding coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth event execution.
2. Generate buzz on social media and communicate important program notices.
3. Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers for maximum value.
4. Manage the event budget, track expenditure, and log incoming revenue.
5. Coordinate service providers, suppliers, tenders, quotes, and contract negotiation.
6. Manage large data quantities.
7. Collaborate on a PR & Comms strategy.
8. Oversee all event aspects: production, design, entertainment, room setup, registration, event management, and take-down.
9. Respond to daily event queries.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
2. Friendly, approachable, and able to take direction.
