Simply Social is a fast-growing social-first agency, with offices in Dublin and London. We partner with leading brands including Tesco, M&S, Currys, Peroni, and Just Eat to name a few. We are now seeking a senior commercial leader in Dublin to help run and grow the business.
Role Purpose
The Head of Business & Growth will act as a senior partner in managing the Irish business, overseeing commercial performance, financial planning, and senior-level recruitment. They will strengthen the leadership team, ensure smooth growth management, and play a supporting role in new business opportunities where needed.
This role is primarily about running the business and leading senior people, while ensuring Simply Social Dublin continues to scale sustainably.
Key Responsibilities
Business Leadership
Partner with the MD on financial management, forecasting, and P&L oversight
Translate business goals into hiring and team growth plans
Lead the senior team, ensuring strong collaboration and accountability across departments
Provide strategic input on agency positioning and growth direction
Growth & Clients
Support new business activity (with the new business team) as a senior voice in key opportunities
Strengthen client relationships at senior level, ensuring commercial and strategic alignment
Help spot and shape opportunities to grow revenue from existing clients
People & Culture
Act as a senior leader within the Dublin office, setting standards and ensuring the team feels supported
Play a central role in senior-level recruitment and leadership development
Work closely with the Head of Internal Ops to align business growth with delivery and resourcing
About You
Experience & Skills:
8+ years in senior roles within creative, social, or marketing agencies
Proven ability to manage financials, budgets, and commercial performance
Experienced in leading senior teams and shaping agency structure for growth
Strong client-facing presence with the ability to represent the agency externally when required
