On behalf of our client in Dublin we are hiring a
Senior Events Manager
to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of high-quality events in Dublin. This role will be on a part-time basis with 22.5 hours per week.
This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in a dynamic environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously while working part-time hours.
You will own the end-to-end event lifecycle—from concept development to on-site delivery—ensuring exceptional experiences that strengthen brand presence and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Strategy & Planning
* Develop and execute an annual event strategy aligned with organisational goals.
* Lead planning activities, including budgeting, timelines, and project management.
* Research venues, vendors, and suppliers within Dublin and negotiate contracts.
Event Execution
* Manage all logistics, including venue setup, AV requirements, catering, transport, and hospitality.
* Oversee event registration systems, guest lists, ticketing, and attendee communications.
* Act as the senior point of contact on event days, coordinating staff, vendors, and stakeholders.
Stakeholder & Team Management
* Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and leadership teams to ensure event objectives are met.
* Manage and mentor junior team members, freelancers, or volunteers as required.
* Maintain strong relationships with local suppliers, venues, and industry partners.
Budgeting & Reporting
* Create and manage event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and ROI.
* Produce post-event reports analyzing attendance, engagement, performance, and feedback.
Brand & Experience
* Ensure event experiences reflect brand guidelines and high-quality standards.
* Innovate and improve event formats, guest experiences, and operational processes.
Skills & Experience Required
* 5+ years of professional experience in event management, ideally at a senior level.
* Proven track record of delivering successful corporate, public, or large-scale events.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
* Solid understanding of event technology, platforms, and systems (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent).
* Budget management experience and strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work evenings or weekends when events require.
