Our company is seeking an Operational Excellence Specialist to drive continuous improvement and excellence across the site.
Main Purpose of the Role
The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager and be responsible for advancing Operational Excellence principles and practices through multifunctional collaboration, delivering high-impact business results.
Main Responsibilities
* Maintain and improve elements of the site's Operational Excellence program, including Manufacturing Operating System (MOS) Tier Reviews, Sitewide 6S Program, and weekly Problem-Solving RCA Hub.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the site.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency across all direct manufacturing and support functions.
* Lead and execute improvement projects, problem-solving activities, and Kaizen events using OpEx and Lean tools to achieve quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost improvement targets.
* Gain Green Belt certification and deliver site training for Yellow Belt, RCA, and 6S tools.
* Utilize digital tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps to drive excellence.
* Function as a Change Agent to influence employees to engage with OpEx and apply lean techniques, tools, and philosophies.
* Manage the site Project Management Office (PMO) to drive timely delivery of site projects and programs.
* Maintain PMO performance dashboard and coordinate reviews of PMO progress.
* Collaborate with site project managers and CFTs to develop project plans, establish timelines, and use project management tools.
* Manage departmental and site KPIs and reporting, including maintaining site visual boards.
* Maintain and drive visual management and data understanding throughout the plant.
Education & Background
* Bachelor's degree in a related Manufacturing/ Engineering/ Science or Quality discipline.
* 2 years' relevant experience in an equivalent role, preferably in OpEx, Continuous Improvement, or Manufacturing environment.
* Lean Six Sigma or other Process Improvement methodologies experience.
* Power BI/Power Automate/Power App experience is advantageous.
* Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
