The Account Executive plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by generating leads, qualifying prospects, and setting up meetings for the sales team. Key responsibilities include engaging with inbound leads, proactively reaching out to targeted companies to discover potential buyers, understand their needs and pains, and convert opportunities through first-time deals and larger, strategic partnerships.
The Role
This role focuses on selling Salesforce Services around Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud, helping clients leverage Salesforce to transform their business operations and customer experiences. The successful candidate will have clearly defined objectives and measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and social media engagement
2. Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the sales team, specifically targeting Salesforce Services around Sales, Service, and and Marketing
3. Work independently to contact cold and pre-qualified prospects within assigned vertical or geographic markets
4. Capture all communications in Salesforce and follow best practices defined as part of the company's sales funnel and process
5. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute lead generation strategies
Requirements
* Some experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in a B2B environment
* Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook/Teams), and social platforms like LinkedIn
* Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
