Warehouse Operative – Full-Time
An experienced Warehouse Operative is required to join a strong, committed, and reliable logistics team based in Damastown Industrial Park. This is a full-time, permanent role operating on a 4 days on / 4 days off rotating shift pattern. The position offers a structured pay scale with annual increases based on tenure and performance.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of materials in and out of the warehouse. You will ensure accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping. You will also play an active role in continuous improvement and team development.
Key Responsibilities
* Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and processes
* Complete tasks in line with training and documented procedures
* Follow instructions from supervisors and management
* Safely operate Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) as trained
* Carry out and document equipment checks and report defects immediately
* Prepare and inspect loads for safe storage or transport
* Complete all Goods In and Goods Out processes accurately
* Ensure correct PPE is worn at all times
* Accurately complete all required documentation
* Perform and record daily, weekly, and monthly checks
* Maintain inventory control and correct stock storage
* Keep warehouse racking tidy, secure, and well organised
* Support training and induction of new warehouse staff
* Contribute to a positive team culture and work environment
* Support other operational departments as required
* Maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping, keeping the facility audit-ready
Experience & Skills Required
* Previous experience in a warehouse operative role
* Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
* MHE experience or licences (e.g. Forklift, Narrow Aisle, Pallet Truck) an advantage
* Strong attention to detail and process-driven mindset
* Excellent communication and comprehension skills
* Ability to follow detailed instructions
* Reliable, hardworking, flexible, and a strong team player
* Proactive with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
