Job Role
A talented Civil Engineer with significant industry experience is sought to join their Galway office due to an expanding portfolio of projects nationally.
The successful candidate will become a member of an enthusiastic and highly experienced team who will support the growth and development of talented engineers.
Responsibilities include providing high-level technical services ranging from feasibility studies to detailed designs through to construction and completion of large national infrastructure projects.
Expect to work on a wide variety of projects in both the public and private sectors.
Professional mentoring by assigned members of the Leadership Team will be provided as part of either our Graduate Training Programme or direct mentorship post Chartership.
Rapid career progression within an expanding team is possible for successful candidates.
Requirements
* Hold a level 8 degree or similar qualification in Civil Engineering
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role with a design consultancy
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong numerical skills and problem-solving abilities
* Customer-focused with growing client relationship management skills
* Ability to mentor junior staff in developing their own technical expertise
* Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to balance tasks and prioritise to meet strict deadlines
* A current driving licence is desirable
