Job Description:
Transway Spares Ltd. is semi-trailer spare parts specialist.
We supply parts to the Irish transport industry, assisting our valued customers in staying on the road.
We seek an organised, reliable, and high attention to detail candidate to join our expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:
· Stock & Inventory Management:
Receiving deliveries, checking quantities and quality, labelling, organising locations, completing stock counts, and reporting discrepancies.
· Picking & Packing Orders:
Accurately picking parts, packing for shipment or internal sales, and meeting dispatch deadlines for external customers & for Transway Trailers.
· Forklift Operation:
Safely operating forklifts and other mechanical handling equipment for loading, unloading, and internal stock movement. Maintenance, upkeep and care of the company forklift.

Goods Inward Quality Control:
Inspect incoming parts for damage, mismatched items, correct stock balances or supplier errors before booking into stock.
· Warehouse Organisation & Housekeeping:
Maintaining clean, efficient, and clearly labelled storage areas.
Responsible for housekeeping of the Transway Spares yard.
· Stock Location Optimisation:
Reorganising stock & improving labelling, adjusting bin locations to improve picking speed and accuracy.
· Health & Safety Compliance:
Following safety procedures, reporting hazards, and contributing to a safe working environment.
· Assisting Team Members:
Assist your team with any other additional tasks requested.
Counter Sales Responsibilities:
· Greet customers and provide friendly, professional parts advice.
· Identify correct parts using catalogues, systems, and technical information.
· Process sales orders, quotations, and invoices at the counter and over the phone & email.
· Check stock availability and coordinate with the warehouse for order fulfilment.
· Manage customer collections and ensure accurate handover of parts.
· Maintain product knowledge of vehicle components, brands, and pricing.
· Handle returns, warranty queries, and follow company procedures for credits/refunds.
· Keep the parts counter clean, organised, and fully stocked with fast-moving items.
· Upsell complementary parts, tools, consumables, or service packages where appropriate.
· Support internal teams (team members, workshops, managers, procurement) with accurate parts information.
