An amazing opportunity has arisen for an ElectricalResource to support the site Capital Project
Requirements
Responsibilities:
* To support the engineering requirements through managing& liaising with key project stakeholders (client design team, maincontractor, suppliers, sub-contractors, etc.).
* Assisting in the execution of projects & providingguidance to ensure we are compliant to all relevant standards/codes andspecifications associated. This will include all site activities associatedwith validation and handover to the operations team.
* Experience in assisting the design of the Electricalsystems such as Instrumentation, Low Voltage Distribution, Motor controlcenter’s (MCC’s), Lighting systems, Generators, UPS and Fire safety andDetection systems.
* Familiarisation with the project scheduling within theconfines of an operating plant.
* Ensure works are installed in accordance with projectspecifications and change control procedures.
* Understands the typical project life cycle from conceptthrough to qualification and has proven experience in this area.
* Ensure there is a safety culture in the design &execution of projects
* Responsible for developing engineering alternativesolutions, including detailed calculations and sketches for client approval.
Skills Required:
* A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience working in anElectrical Role
* Good knowledge of the current electrical power andinstrumentation systems
* Assist with the design, development, testing andsupervision of the manufacture/installation of the electrical equipment
* Excellent organisational and project planning skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
* Familiar with Project scheduling tools.
* Ability to manage workload and prioritise.
