Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position:
* Proven track record in health and/or social care transformation, ideally within the Irish public sector or similar environments.
* Strong client-facing consulting or strategic advisory experience, with the ability to analyse complex problems and deliver practical, data-driven solutions.
* Expertise in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects and programmes, including risk management, resource allocation, and governance.
* Relevant qualifications in healthcare management, social work, clinical disciplines, project management, business, economics, engineering, architecture, or related fields. Professional certifications in project or change management (e.g., Prince2, PMP, Prosci) are highly desirable.
Success in the Role: Performance Outcomes in your first 6-12 months:
* Lead the development and execution of integrated health and social care strategies that align infrastructure, digital, and operational priorities.
* Design and implement new operating models that integrate people, processes, and technology to improve service delivery.
* Prepare robust business cases and feasibility studies to secure investment and stakeholder buy-in for transformation initiatives.
* Manage complex projects and programmes, ensuring effective governance, stakeholder engagement, and delivery against agreed outcomes.
What type of work will I be doing?
* Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop integrated health and social care strategies and policies.
* Operating Model Design: Design and implement operating models that improve efficiency and quality of care.
* Investment Case Development: Prepare business cases and feasibility studies to support funding decisions.
* Project & Programme Management: Oversee multi-stakeholder projects, providing PMO governance and risk management.
* Stakeholder Engagement & Team Leadership: Engage with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders; mentor and lead multidisciplinary teams.
