Procurement and Third-Party Management Overview
The Procurement and Third-Party Management (P&TPM) team is responsible for procuring products and services for Citigroup and managing the risks associated with the bank's third-party arrangements across all business lines and locations. P&TPM defines and oversees the implementation of policies and standards that provide controls to assess third parties and outsourcing arrangements. The goal of P&TPM is to support Citigroup's selection and management of third parties capable of providing products and services in a safe and sound manner at a reasonable cost, while managing the associated risks.
Citigroup is seeking a Program Senior Group Manager who is passionate about driving meaningful changes and ready to make an impact. The ideal candidate will have a background in operational excellence, change management, and leading high-impact bank-wide strategic projects. This selected candidate will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and delivering key transformational activities focused on de-risking P&TPM Operations, reporting to the Head of Procurement and Third-Party Management Operational Excellence.
Main Responsibilities
* Work with the P&TPM Leadership team and business partners to conceive and implement a portfolio of projects that simplify and de-risk T&PMT bank-wide.
* Leverage Change Management approaches and methods to assess organization capacity and readiness for changes, using the assessment to work with P&TPM process improvement / process transformation teams to identify timing, key projects/initiatives, resources/teams, and change management approach.
* Partner with the business to devise innovative solutions through leveraging agile methodologies to address process pain points and value opportunities.
* Plan and conduct functional and cross-functional working sessions to develop future-state processes models and address value opportunities.
* Leverage Six Sigma, Lean, and other common process change methodologies.
* Help create a culture of continuous improvement within P&TPM and across key stakeholders, reducing time to market, boosting quality, and raising employee morale.
Requirements
* Strong track record of driving operational excellence, ideally within procurement and third-party management, and regulatory remediation experience.
* Extensive relevant experience leading process improvement/transformation projects end-to-end across business and countries.
* Served as the project/program lead for at least 3 major complex operating model, process reengineering or transformation projects.
* Ability to effectively drive and lead change in an organization of Citigroup's size.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively interact with and influence senior management, lines of defense partners.
* Strong planning and organizing skills with the ability to manage and prioritize responsibilities through the effective use of time management and organization.
* Ability to lead and manage cross-functional global project teams.
* Proven experience in coaching and developing direct reports and team members.
* Unquestionable integrity and objectivity, with ongoing commitment to excellence and the ability to operate in diverse environments and cultures.
* Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree and managerial experience.
