C&D Foods is one of Europe's leading own label pet food manufacturers, producing a range of wet and dry pet foods. This role aims to ensure that C&D Foods' operations meet current objectives and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The focus is on enhancing quality, output, and OTIF (Customer Service Level), while maintaining a well-managed business structure.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop an understanding of site successes and facilitate knowledge transfer across locations.
2. Lead daily morning production meetings, record minutes, and publish outcomes.
3. Collaborate closely with site engineering teams.
4. Ensure staffing levels meet standard requirements.
5. Maintain and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all processes.
6. Ensure comprehensive training for staff with proper documentation for consistency.
7. Travel to sites to gain firsthand understanding of operations.
8. Ensure each site adheres to quality standards and escalate issues to the General Manager and relevant group heads.
9. Maintain health and safety standards across all sites.
10. Develop action plans to address operational needs.
11. Produce weekly reports on site performance and corrective actions for metrics that are below target.
Personal Competencies and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is a degree-qualified self-starter capable of managing end-to-end processes. The role requires a blend of technical understanding and people management skills, including overseeing operators, supervisors, and managers.
Weekly travel to various sites is expected, with the ability to work collaboratively with site General Managers and interface with engineering and quality departments.
