Procurement Specialist Role
This is a permanent, full-time position that will be based in Co. Meath.
The role offers the possibility of hybrid working after a probation period.
* Manage and send out tender and contract inquiries to suppliers and subcontractors according to specifications, drawings, and bills of quantities at both the tender and contract stages.
* Examine and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, preparing detailed cost and rate analyses.
* Send and issue purchase orders to suppliers and subcontractors.
* Maintain accurate procurement records and purchase agreements to meet audit standards.
* Research and identify new materials and suppliers to support design improvements and cost efficiencies.
* Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement plans to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
* Tender Management: Prepare and issue tender documents, manage the tender process, and evaluate bids.
* Contract Administration: Administer contracts, including negotiation, execution, and termination.
* Supplier Management: Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate prices, and resolve issues.
* Cost Control: Analyze and control costs associated with procurement activities.
