We have developed significant expertise and resources and operate countrywide with offices in Galway, Dublin and Limerick.We employ an ambitious and highly capable team and together with our strong financial capabilities, we strive to deliver the highest quality projects to exceed our clients and design teams expectations.We are now recruiting for the position of part-qualified accountant based at our Head Office in Galway.Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate is ACCA/ACA/CPA part-qualified with at least two years' experience in Practice, with a strong technical ability and attention to detail.Reporting to the CFO, the part qualified accountant will have responsibility for areas of the finance function, including financial transactions, compliance with regulations and preparing reports.Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage the accounts receivable function, ensuring accuracy of payment applications and certificates and subsequent issuing invoices to clientsRegular review of the outstanding debtors and liaise with clients in relation to paymentReview and update of retention receivable on an ongoing basisResponsibility for the subcontractor payment process, including cost allocation and commercial reportingAssist in the preparation of statutory reporting requirements including VAT returns, RCT returns, CSO returns, payroll filings and other ad hoc duties as required.Process monthly and bi-weekly payroll, ensuring timely and accurate paymentPreparation of various reports to the CFO and senior management, and adhering to deadlines.Assist the CFO in preparing annual budgets to ensure alignment with operational objectivesOther ad hoc duties as requiredWho should apply?The ideal candidate will have:A degree in Business / FinancePart qualified or recently qualified accountant2+ years of experience working in PracticeStrong knowledge of three-way matching and processing payment runsKnowledge of Iplicit cloud accounting software (preferred but not essential)Advanced Excel skills essentialExperience in team leadership and communicationStrong numerical, analytical and attention to detail skillsPackage on offerCompetitive salaryPension and life insuranceFlexible working hoursOn-site parkingTraining opportunities and career development
